I love being a photographer as it gives me such joy taking detailed photographs of domestic & wild flowers and trees plus beautiful scenery. The depth of a Sunflower with bees flying all around it feeding is amazing. The beautiful textures of a Western Red Cedar surrounded by mist creates a spiritual experience for me as I stand quietly appreciating the scene. Seeing the new spring growth of a Western Bleeding Heart, just 3 inches tall, in it's most brilliant reds & purples or standing in -3C on an incredibly clear winter night as the Super Blue Moon starts to rise. Then spending the next 30 minutes enjoying the stunning moon river that falls across the waters in front of me. It all just takes my breath away. Taken from the bluffs of Whiskey Point at the entrance to the Cove in late Autumn which made the light so beautiful. The sun was setting off to the left of the scene which made all the reflections come to life.
